I know I always scream “I’M GONNA DO THIS” and then do nothing (ahem, Children of ?????) but this, I promise I shall do, why? Well let me explain – I’ve already done it. That is to say, Upon Dark Dementia is sort of like, a biography of my WoW character, who I’ve never lost interest in, even if the game bored me to tears. Okay.. okay.. so I thought that was what Freefall in the Dark was for?

Little do you know, FFID was – first of all, a book created that was INSPIRED by Montolio and co, alot of it was stuff that did not happen in WoW, and later on I changed it into its own universe, so I could expand it however I wanted. Now this version of FFID, which I’m calling Upon Dark Dementia, the FFID is just there to.. be a subtitle, and to highlight my obsession with the word “Dark/er”, this version is actually what happened in WoW. Well.. more or less, of course I’ll be changing some parts to make it story-tell-worthy, but yes, more or less, this is exactly what my WoW paladin went through, I’ve also made it correspond to the actual WC timeline, which wasn’t hard. So.. when can you see it?

That is to say, I’ve done a few chapters already, but mostly when I was dead tired.. so.. once I get to chapter 5, I’ll check through it all to make sure it makes sense, and then upload at the usual rate of one chapter per week, give or take.
Oh, also, here’s an unedited version of the title, mainly as it took me around 6 hours to make, and then I just spammed filters onto it so you can’t even really see what it originally was. Yes, that face was drawn by me. As was the hand, sword, and entire body.. or well.. let me explain.
I started by drawing a “skeleton” of the rough pose, then I drew some armour onto it, after a while I began to notice that, it looked anime’ish, which drove me insane as it seems everything I draw looks anime’ish, that is to say, cartoony, as I can’t draw realistically at all. So.. I did what any normal person would do, and I took real textures from a site that won’t be named, cut them out with my e-scisscors, and placed them where they were meant to go.. hehe.. pretty sneaky huh? In retrospect, however proud I am of the hat, I really should have just searched on google for a picture of a hat and pasta’D it on, oh well!
Also, I’m painfully aware to the fact that it looks like he has one arm, let me explain, his pose is essentially, he’s running fowards.. through rain, as you do. He has both arms out stretched behind him, one is obscured by his cloak (aka the huge green blob on his back) I know it looks wierd, but trust me, it’s a “well drawn” pose to a certain degree, arms can work that way, I tried. Also I was planning to have raindrops like tooting on him, as he’s meant to be running through ‘em.. but.. I’m lazy. OH, and that brown shit on his shoulder is a shoulderpad, the reason the cloak goes under that, yet over his arm, is because it’s also a clasp, BELIEVE ME I AGONISED OVER THE STUPIDITY OF THAT POSE MORE THAN YOU EVER WILL.
I would like to think that is at a stage of the book I’ve not written yet where Monty goes to rescue Erthus from a band of vampires, granted, in the actual event, he wore a full set of leather.. but.. in reality, I think I would wear plate mail against vampires. Anyway yeah, that’s how I pictured it, a rainy sunset, with him happily dashing through Duskwood (or whatever it’s called) to rescue poor Erthus, who’s subject to Frahlo screaming “WTF FRAHLO” at him.
Oh, yeah, it’ll be “serious” in nature, but slightly more light hearted than the others, the ominous name, is again, due to my obessesion with the word dark.
brb renaming Finis Impiri to Dark Empire. Oh.. that actually sounds pretty good. AHUFDSJFh.
Anyway yeah, here ’tis. I’m off to watch more I AM HAYATE, SHINOBI OF BUTLER before Geass airs.
